The New Energy Building is inspired from nature.
The designers choose calla lily flower as a symbol of hope,
greatness and prosperity.

With the total construction area of 68480m2 and overall height of 128m,
it is considered to be the largest bionic building in China,
and one of the most sustainable buildings in the world.

Wind-light complementary and building integrated system
Wind-light complementary and building integrated systemThe building can convert energy. It is the first building with a large wind and light complementary and building integrated system in China, which is made up of a 3500 sqm solar PV generation system and a new 10k-watt-level vertical axis wind generator set, and can provide approximately 480000kWh electricity for the main building annually, representing 14% of total power consumption by the building.
Rainwater recycling system
Rainwater recycling systemThe building maximizes the use of water resources. With its rainwater recycling system, up to 38% of the total water used by the whole building is recycled water, enabling annual water savings of 4800 tons.
Natural ventilation system
Natural ventilation systemIn the natural ventilation system, an around 9 sqm hot tower locted in the middle of the building works through the whole building to facilitate natural vantilation which may together with a chilled beam system deliver fresh right air to everywhere of the building.
Optical illumination system
Optical illumination systemThe optical illumination system extends all over from the underground part to the surface of the grass ground. With the condition of enough natural sunlight, we can provide lighting for the whole underground park with “None-Electricity”, which will save more than 50000kwh each year.
